    1. Carnarvon Space Festival Apollo 11 Astronaut, Buzz Aldrin – the second man on the moon – will journey from America to Western Australia's tropical North West to officially open the Carnarvon Space and Technology Museum. Carnarvon Space Festival celebrates the world's only remaining 'sugar scoop' satellite dish and its extraordinary role in space tracking and television broadcasting.
    2. Taste of the Gascoyne The Taste of the Gascoyne event promotes the region’s fresh produce and its point of difference: slow, long ripening seasons that make for produce that simply tastes better. The weekend includes tours of plantations and seafood factories, grower markets’ on Saturday morning and a cocktail party on the Saturday evening.

    1. TropiCOOL Festival TropiCOOL Festival includes a soiree of colourful events in the town of Carnarvon. There will be a ball with cabaret entertainment including comedy skits and later in the night the DJ will turn on the dance floor. During the day, there will be a festival parade, triathlon and the famous great Carnarvon Tomato Battle.

    1. Carnarfin Fishing Competition The Carnarfin Fishing Competition caters for beach, jetty, rock and boat fishing enthusiasts who attempt to catch the largest fish in 16 categories within 50 nautical miles of Carnarvon. With prizes totalling around AUD20,000 this is a fishing comp not to be missed.
    2. Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash The Gascoyne Dash is a hardcore desert racing event featuring a diverse range of off-road racing machines; bikes, quads, four wheel drives and buggies. Competitors are as diverse as the machines they race coming from across Western Australia, interstate and overseas. They race in purpose-built buggies and motorbikes in a two-day, 500 kilometre challenge across some of the harshest terrain in Western Australia.
